No! In fact, a big advantage of attending our driving school is the fact that, during the Classroom Session, we administer the written test so that students DO NOT have to take the test at the Drivers License Exam Station.

THE PRICE FOR THE COURSE IS $545 -That includes the State required 8-hour Classroom Session and 6 hours of Driving Instruction over three 2-hour driving lessons. We're not the cheapest, but here are just some of the benefits you get that lower priced schools don't offer:
PRIVATE ONE-ON-ONE DRIVING INSTRUCTION - although student-ride-along arrangement is still practiced in a lot of area public schools as well as local Jr. College programs, research has shown having another student in the back seat can make drivers self-conscious. Concentration and focus can be affected as drivers fear being embarrassed by mistakes, and overall judged by one of their peers.
VIDEO & AUDIO RECORDINGS OF ALL DRIVING LESSONS - For your peace of mind, all lessons are videotaped with a full front seat view of the student and instructor, as well as a view of the road ahead
A FULL FLEET OF IDENTICAL LATE MODEL TOYOTA CAMRYS - No wasted time for your student to get familiar with a different vehicle each drive. Plus, with all of our vehicles interchangeable, when unscheduled maintenance pops up, we don't have to cancel your lesson, as we always have another vehicle standing by.
DRIVERS ED PERMIT ISSUED DAY OF CLASS - We are the only school to issue the temporary Drivers Ed Paper Permit the same day as the classroom session, so students can start driving right away.
ENROLL WITH JUST A$100 DEPOSIT - Sign up with a $100 fully refundable payment, and we won't charge the balance until the day before class.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS RIGHT HERE ONLINE - No need to call, no mail-in contracts... just go online, select a class, and pay, all from the convenience of your computer or smartphone
Students must be at least 14 years of age to apply for a Learners Permit, which they receive automatically by passing the written test administered during our Drivers Ed course without having to take the test at the State Drivers License Exam Station*. Or, they can visit the Exam Station and take the test there.
*NOTE: The Learners Permit we issue at the end of the Classroom Session is NOT the same as the State Permit. Although the Drivers Ed permit does grant the student limited practice driving privileges, it's primary function is to be presented at the State Exam Station to show the written test requirement has already been fulfilled at a Driving School, thereby allowing for issuance of the State Permit without any testing at the Exam Station.

At this time we do not allow translators. In particular, during the driving lesson portion of the course, students must have command of the English language, and must be able to understand instructions without hesitation. The inherent delay that occurs when translating increases the risk when a split second reaction needs to be taken to avoid an incident while driving.
