Required Documents

The State of Kansas will accept only certain documents as proof that the student is a resident of the United States and Kansas.

The most commonly used are:

  • U.S. Residency - The student's birth certificate

  • Kansas Residency - A driver's license of a minor's parent, step-parent, legal guardian, or other person with whom the applicant resides
