I started my driving school because I knew that, after nearly 40 years of experience as a traffic reporter, I had something new to offer that would actually redefine what really makes a teen driver "safe".
Saying we want to teach our students to be "safe" drivers merely describes our wish to keep them free from risk and harm, but that's as far as it goes. If you break it down, keeping teens safe really means keeping them from getting hurt... and if you don't want them to get hurt, you better teach them how to stay out of wrecks.
So, I developed a curriculum focused on 'Collision Avoidance'... incorporating common sense strategies that are easy to apply and keep teens from getting into situations that I see cause wrecks every day. In fact, we teach our students how to avoid the common mistakes drivers make that cause the overwhelming majority of the wrecks I see. Seriously!
